Synopsis: Electrophysiological recordings are a direct way to probe brain cell function and detect abnormalities caused by disease. Synome uses multi-electrode array (MEA) technology, which is ideally suited for study of nerve cells, synapses and circuits. The approaches applied by Synome have been extensively validated in over 40 genetic models including disease models.
