Leif Helth Jensen is the Chairman of Synome Ltd. He has more than 30 years of experience within the life science industry. He has been the CEO of two biotech companies (Cureon and Glycom) and served or is serving on the Board of Directors in more than 20 biotech companies (among these are Genmab, Zealand Pharma, Cureon, Exiqon, Inagen, Bone Medical, Microlytic and Thrombologic). In addition to Synome, Leif has previously co-founded three other companies (NeuroSearch, Zealand Pharma, Cureon). Leif holds a M.Sc. in Biology from the University of Copenhagen, and is a co-author of more than 35 peer-reviewed scientific papers on CNS research and a co-inventor of 19 patents. For the last 5 years, Leif has worked as an Investment Manager at CAT, a venture capitalist company in Denmark.

Troels Jordansen is the Managing Director of Synome Ltd. He acquired his vast experience in the health industry over the last 20 years, working in commercial roles ranging from a Product Manager for a large multinational corporation to a Managing Director for a public listed company. His employment history started in international corporations, such as Johnson & Johnson, and in the last 10 years, Troels has worked for several start-up companies. He has managed a diverse set of technological products including absorbable medical devices, orthopaedic implants and cell therapies. Troels has been a part of Management Teams that have raised in excess of EUR 120 million and today has a broad network of venture capital and corporate finance contacts. Having worked globally, Troels has a personal network in Europe, North and South Americas, Australia and Japan. Troels holds two international management and marketing degrees and he has been a founder of 5 healthcare companies.

Seth Grant is the Chief Scientific Officer of Synome Ltd. Seth has over 20 years research experience in studying the genetic basis of brain function and disease. In addition to a medical training from Sydney University, he has research experience from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (USA), Columbia University (USA) where he worked with Nobel Laureate Eric Kandel, Edinburgh University and the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. He is currently Professor of Molecular Neuroscience at Edinburgh University, Honorary Professor of Molecular Neuroscience at Cambridge University and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. Seth is an international leader in neuroscience research having used genetics and proteomics over many years to study the synaptic basis of brain disease.
